A Simple Nutrition Guide for Breastfeeding  Moms on a Tight Budget.

My son’s first cry was one of the best sounds, and it gave me the best emotional feeling I have ever experienced in my entire life. “Congrats Valary. Welcome to motherhood”, my buddies congratulated me as they admired my little bundle of joy. Little did they know that the stressful image that kept rotating in my mind was where am suppose to obtain enough nutritious food for my body to produce enough breast milk for my baby.

As a single mom with a low-wage salary, I had to invent a plan not to be a malnourished but healthy mom. With the help of nutritious books and my doctor’s advice, these natural foods were a lifesaver in my motherhood journey. Are you a new nursing mom on a tight budget and wondering what to eat to boost your milk production; below are 5 affordable natural foods that come in handy to increase your breast milk supply;

Mushrooms help with calcium regulation in the body. Mushrooms also contain an important nutrient called riboflavin. If there is deficiency of riboflavin, it might lead to poor growth and impaired iron absorption in infants. Thus eating mushrooms can provide a lot of benefits for your baby.
