Mizu Towels – Product Review

I never gave much thought before buying a towel. The only thing I look for is that it should be soft. Most towels that I have used are bulky and take time to dry. Recently, I came to know about Mizu towels and their antibacterial properties.

Also, the fact that they are made from bamboo fibre made me interested. So, I thought of trying them out.

The first thing I noticed when they arrived is that they are soft and lightweight. I got the grey towels with blue stripes. I use the hand towel many times a day, and I was impressed with how quickly it dried. You do not have to deal with dampness. Also, as it dries faster it does not have the nasty damp smell that towels emit. It smells fresh even after regular use.

These towels eliminate 99% bacteria growth and have a strip that changes color when it detects bacteria. I did notice some color change in the hand towel. I am yet to see any change in the bath towel.

The color change is due to the natural cleaning silver fibers that change color when dirt builds up. As we all have realized the importance of hygiene during the pandemic, these towels felt like the perfect addition.

What are Mizu Towels Made Of?

They are made with high-quality bamboo cotton with color-changing bacteria detection. They are absorbent and as mentioned earlier, dry quickly. The towels have solvatochromic dye strips that change from blue to red to let you know that it is time for a wash. It also changes color when it comes in contact with oil, bacteria, residual soap, chemicals, fat, and sweat to show contamination.

These towels have been conceptualized and produced by a highly efficient team of professionals to suit the needs of the changing world and environment. The sustainability and the Eco-friendliness of bamboo cotton is a huge bonus.

Right now they are available in three colors, charcoal grey, polar white and royal blue. I hope they come up with more colors and designs in the future. I am looking forward to that!
