Arm & Hammer Baby Wash And Shampoo : Product Review.

As a mother of two kids, I have experience using quite a few varieties of baby products. My kids have different skin types and textures, so the ones that worked for my older one did not seem to work for my younger daughter. Also, while my older one has straight, silky, thick hair, my younger one’s hair is dry, thick, and curly. So, I do have to keep all these in mind while buying baby products.

Arm & Hammer

I had never used Arm & Hammer baby products before. So when I received a few baby products to try out, I decided to use them for my younger daughter. The first ingredient that stood out to me was baking soda. Though I knew that people use baking soda for diaper rash and skin eczema, I wasn’t sure if it was safe to use baby products with this ingredient. I did some research and found the following:

  1. It improves diaper rash and helps relieve itchy skin, making it a good product for dry skin.
  2. It is a good remedy for skin conditions like eczema.
  3. It balances PH levels and removes any bad odor. Thus, adding baking soda to the bath will give your baby a refreshing bath.
  4. Baking soda also make the skin smoother.

Arm & Hammer Baby Wash & Shampoo

I received both the gel and the foaming baby wash & shampoo. You get the scent of baking soda when you use the product. However, it doesn’t linger in the skin. The smell is mild and not overpowering.

Moreover, my child was happy to get her hair shampooed. So I was sure that it did not bother her eyes at all. The product does state that it is tear free and gentle on the eyes. Additionally, that it is free of parabens, dyes & phthalates.

I am also glad that every time I use the baby wash & shampoo, it leaves her skin feel softer and moisturized. Her skin is dry, so a bath usually requires a good oil massage to keep her skin smooth. But after using this product, I have noticed a difference that her skin does not feel as dry as it used to be. I am considering using this baby product as it has worked well for us. The only thing I wish is that it did not have any smell of baking soda.
