Welcome to MomsCove and thank you for taking the time to know about us.
I am Meghalee Nath, Founder, and Editor in chief of MomsCove.
My story dates back to more than a decade…
Having had a short stint in content writing I chose to leave my job after marriage to be with my husband – (I didn’t like the idea of a divided family). My journey back from a metro city to a small town didn’t go so well though. After moving, I struggled to find a job of my liking and went through a very rough patch. I felt like I was losing my identity.
In the meantime, I conceived and we were gifted with a beautiful little angel. I knew that staying home was more important to me then finding a career. Though I knew that this was the right thing to do, the heartache of an Identity crisis persisted.
Then, one day my husband brought up the idea of starting a blog. We discussed it further and thought that given my background in English and Mass Communication and my experience with content writing, I might actually be able to give it a try. After the initial inertia, I finally took the plunge in October 2018, and MomsCove was born.
I started as an amateur with our team of amateurs. But what would we write about it? Parenting and Motherhood came up as an obvious choice but we thought we would specifically focus on the happiness and well being of a stay at home mom. Also, given the dog lover that I am, how could I leave that part out? Hence the tagline Pets, Parenting, Positivity, and we strive to remain true to it.
Will it work? We had no clue…but what’s the harm in giving it a try.
At Momscove, our priority is to create quality content. We work hard to maintain a certain quality standard. The focus is to create something meaningful and helpful for fellow moms with our efforts. Monetization was never a priority. Though you would find some Ads, affiliate links, and sponsored posts (who would hate some extra bucks, right?) we try to keep that to a minimum for great reader experience.
In a very short time, MomsCove has managed to get our reader’s love and also find some recognition and mentions. Please checkout our ShowCase
